An exciting opportunity to work for one of the UK's leading FM service providers.

CBW is currently looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to be based at a commercial office building located a short walk from Bond Street.

The successful candidate will be electrically biased, looking after a single peron site.

In return the company is offering a competitive salary of £45,000, overtime.

You will be required to carry out the following supervisory tasks.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Report directly into the Account Manager
  • Assist the Contract Manager in with the "day to day" running of the contract in London and national sites
  • The Working Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all activities within the building are undertaken with a professional and conscientious outlook with regards to the quality of work and Health & Safety
  • The Working Supervisor will ensure that there are excellent standards of response to plant failures, completion of assigned work and ensure any abnormal operating conditions and housekeeping issues are dealt with proficiently.
  • It is the Working Supervisors role to act as a co-ordination point for the day-to-day activities on site, specialist service partners and build a relationship with client/tenants.
  • Assist in the management of all maintenance staff on the contracts
  • Arrange specialist sub-contractors
  • Management of all reports/site log books
  • Ensure all paperwork is up to date on each contract and ready for audits
  • Attend client meetings if required
  • Ensure work is issued/completed on satellite sites
  • Carry out hands on M&E / Fabric maintenance (Hands on / Supervisor)  

Hours of Work

Monday to Friday (40 hour week) 08:00am to 17:00pm

Requirements

  • Electrically qualified C&G / NVQ Level 2&3 - Essential
  • C&G 18th Edition
  • You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
  • A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of staff and clients.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise a demanding and varying workload
  • Attend client meetings if required
  • Offer technical support to the Contract Manager, client, and onsite maintenance team
  • IT knowledge/skills
  • Able to navigate the CAFM system (Training available)
