Autism in Schools Facilitator Wakefield - Part time

This role will involve the facilitation and development of groups in co-production with Neurodiverse children within 10 pilot schools and supporting the evaluation of the group outcomes via a co-produced evaluation survey with other key-stakeholders.



You will ...

Build relationships with children and young people within the pilot school, providing pen portrait of self and gaining pen portrait of the children and young people in the service.
Delivery of co-produced sessions, facilitating communication and discussions with the identified students students.
Liaise with key professionals, including school staff, as necessary.
Facilitate the safe and effective delivery of a closed Facebook groups for the children and young people using the service.
To support peer ambassadors (neurotypical and neurodivere students) within the schools.
Building relationships with SEND parents and also delivery of sessions to SEND parents via the WASP project.
