Senior Income Management Officer

If so, saha has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Income Management Officer to join our Housing Team.
At Saha, we are dedicated to providing comprehensive, good quality housing services, support and resettlement for people who are or have recently experienced homelessness and who are in need of support and accommodation.

This rewarding, stretching management role gives you the opportunity to work with and positively influence services for our tenants within our general need homes across the country.  You and your income team will deliver an effective rent income collection and recovery service in accordance with legislation, Saha’s policies, performance standards, targets and customer satisfaction requirements.
You will also ensure that all residents adhere to their tenancy conditions regarding rent payment, receive advice on financial inclusion and benefit entitlement and that appropriate recovery action is taken where necessary to maximise rental income.

About The Candidate
We're looking for a manager who is passionate about tenants, developing and supporting their team, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has an unshakeable positive, can-do attitude with a high level of resilience.

Of course, we will want a manager who is equally passionate about supporting and developing their team which includes an Income Management Officer and Rent Administrator.
You will be:
  • Able to demonstrate experience in managing a successful income service along with the knowledge and commitment to implementing proactive income maximisation.

    This includes ensuring your team develops and uses best in class Financial Inclusion initiatives and Welfare Benefits Advice to tenants mitigating the impact of Welfare Reform.
  • A collaborator working with internal colleagues and agencies to deliver effective results
  • A confident, capable communicator with knowledge of a range of methods to problem solve
  • Customer focused with great customer service experience and the ability to engage with challenging customers
  • Able to inspire and engage others and enhance learning through reflection and positive risk taking.
  • A natural people-person, team player and manager with a coaching style.
  • Excited by developing and implementing savvy new ideas and contributing to the implementation of best in class services and administration.
  • Unfazed by having several competing priorities to manage including developing the team and service through a period of change
  • Able to use technology in day-to-day work including generating, producing and presenting performance and ad hoc reports.
