Schedule Analyst (Primavera P6 )

Job Title: Schedule Analyst
Location: Site Based (Macclesfield) with some remote working
Contract: Inside IR35
Hours/Duration: Full time, 5 days per week.

Initial 6 Month contract with strong potential to be extended.



The Role of Project Manager
Our client, who is in the astrophysics research industry, is looking for an experienced Schedule Analyst to join their existing team to support the backlog of analysis of proposed schedule changes.

This requires the schedule analyst to carry out a need's clarification with the PMs/senior stakeholders, model any changes in a P6 Primavera sandbox prior to approval, then implement if/when approved, under the guidance of the Senior Project Schedule Analyst.


This project is initially for 6 months with possible extension of up to a year.

The role will be worked predominately at our client's prestigious site in Macclesfield, with some opportunity to work from home.

About you


This role will suit somebody with a science or engineering background, that has sound experience of Primavera P6.


Essential



  • Primavera P6 skills

  • Ability to model schedule changes (sandbox)

  • Ability to work with Project Managers in HQ/remotely (communicating via Zoom and other collaboration tools), sometimes working with people in different time zones

  • Ability to manage own time

  • Ability and willingness to clearly communicate the progress on their work and raise any issues promptly with the Project Controls Manager/Project Schedule Analyst


Desirable



  • Understanding of earned value analysis

  • Advanced P6 skills including import & export, global change, resource management and reporting

  • Experience of using Deltek Acumen software for schedule Monte Carlo analysis
