Endoscopy Team Lead

An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Endoscopy Team Lead to work in an amazing hospital service based in the West Allotment, Newcastle upon Tyne area.

You will be working for one of UK's leading healthcare providers

This private hospital has been delivering health services for many years and has established a reputation with patients and the healthcare community for consultant led services and high patient satisfaction

As an Endoscopy Team Lead your key duties include:

  • Develop own knowledge and skills and develop others, carrying out appraisals and supporting the team

  • Further develop the services, in turn grow activity

  • Assist with research and development

  • Contribute to quality improvement

  • Ensure a safe effective governance framework which meets national regulations and enables compliance to company polices

  • Support the Theatre and Endoscopy Manager in leading a workforce by blending people into teams and fostering a positive, yet a challenging culture

  • Be a clear, logical and persuasive communicator across various audiences

  • Provides clear direction and fosters positive attitudes in the workplace

  • Take responsibility for guiding and directing others to achieve goal

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

  • Knowledge of decontamination in the Endoscopy environment

  • Knowledge of JAG accreditation and ensure yearly renewal

  • Excellent communication skills for dealing with patients and health professionals

  • Teamwork skills

  • Significant exposure in a senior role to external stakeholders such as Consultants, Physicians, Allied Health professionals, patients and suppliers

This exciting position is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours on Days.
