Oncology Sister/Charge Nurse

A new job opportunity has arisen for an Oncology Sister/Charge Nurse to work in an exceptional hospital based in the Chelmsford, Essex area.

You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers

This hospital provides a wide range of services including Surgery, Medicine, Oncology, Plastic and Cosmetic surgery, and Paediatrics.

They are continually introducing new technology to ensure they provide the best experience for patients and support for their hard working teams and have just opened 2 additional purpose built theatres

As a Nurse your key duties include:

  • Demonstrate a motivated and enthusiastic approach for the continued success of the department

  • Have the clinical operational responsibility for the day-to-day running of the unit

  • Will be required to problem solve and provide direction enabling clinical services to run safely and effectively

  • Working ‘hands on' alongside the clinical staff to role model outstanding care that is person centred

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

  • Registration Qualifications/Course in chemotherapy administration / UKONS SACT passport

  • Proven ability to lead a team and work independently as required

  • Experience in organising oncology care

  • ENB 237 - Oncology nursing desirable

  • ENB N59 - desirable

The successful Nurse will receive an excellent salary up to £40,000 per annum.

This exciting position is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours a week.
