Support/Play Worker - Oxford

As a Support/Play Worker, you will be working directly with disabled children, or young people and their families, to support them with their needs.

This is an opportunity to develop your skills in a rewarding role, and gain a strong sense of achievement.



The overall purpose of this role is:



To work as part of a team supporting the provision of an exciting and challenging programme of activities in a safe and stimulating environment for children/young people with a range of disabilities/additional needs such as autism, behavioural, learning and emotional difficulties.
To work in partnership with parents/carers.
To encourage the children to play adventurously, creatively and imaginatively, and to enable them to obtain the full benefit of the facilities provided by the service.

This is a sessional position offering flexible working hours during evenings, weekends and school holidays.
