Registered Care Home Manager

An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Registered Care Home Manager to manage a beautiful care home based in the Saffron Walden, Essex area.

*To be considered for this position you must hold an NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Health & Social Care

As the Home Manager your key duties include:

• Responsible for compliance for care and service standards within their home and CQC rating of their own home


• Financial performance of their home


• Home is fully resourced and operating to safe staffing levels


• Staffs are allocated to appropriate training


• Overseeing recruitment and induction for all staff within their home in accordance with recruitment policy

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• At least 2 years' experience as a Registered Care Home Manager with CQC


• Have a proven track record in management and delivery of high-quality care within a residential setting and financial management planning


• Experience and knowledge of working in dementia care


• Proven experience of managing a care team, encouraging, leading and motivating others


• Strong understanding of safeguarding, compliance and care inspectorate


• Passionate, driven, confident and resilient Leader


• Have excellent communication skills with a natural ability to lead, motivate and inspire your team


• Keen in developing yourself and others & able to build good relationships with the residents & their families

The successful Home Manager will receive an excellent salary of £70,000 per annum.

This exciting position is a Full Time role working through Days.
