Hull Sleep Service and Training for Parents Senior Practitioner

To provide guidance to families of children and young people with disabilities/additional needs and sleep problems, through the establishment of a local multi agency sleep service and training for parents offer.

To work under training and the guidance of the Sleep and Family Support Coordinators and other Practitioners to co-deliver workshops on:

A range of training programmes for families with children with SEND to improve their family emotional health and wellbeing including for families (e.g.

autism, sensory, disabilities).
Sleep and related issues.

To offer short term intervention and support to families via home visits, telephone support and signposting.

To complete the Family Star outcomes based model with parents.

To contribute to the development of new training courses as and when required.
