Helpdesk Analyst

Our clients are a leading software product supplier with several hundred companies of varying sizes utilising their award-winning systems.

With significant integration into the Microsoft Office suite and other bespoke integrations, the software offers a wealth of end user and consumer functionality.

The CMS application itself is a Microsoft .Net application, a hybrid mixture of both WinForms (installed) and MVC (web) code build upon an MS SQL Server backend.

Helpdesk and Manual tester.

  • They looking for someone who will split their time 50/50 between our support desk and assist the test team initially with manual testing support.

  • For this role prior testing is not essential and the role would suit someone who either has prior helpdesk experience and is looking to take on other responsibilities.

  • There will be support from the product team and existing test team to get the new candidate up to speed a) understanding our application and b) completing and documenting structured testing against the software.

Key competencies here are:

  • A solid technical understanding and background, ideally in a helpdesk role but not essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and a customer-first mindset.
  • Attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing.

From a personal perspective the role will suit someone able to act as the bridge between end-users, support and development, working collaboratively to get the best possible outcome for all parties.
