Fabric Engineer (Carpentry Bias)

Fabric Engineer - FM Service Provider - Historic Building - Charing Cross - Up to £34,000 

 

Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM service provider situated on Charing Cross, Central London.

CBW are currently recruiting a Fabric Engineer to be based in a commercial office space located on Charing Cross, Central London.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of most general fabric trades such as basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting etc.

Working alongside the maintenance team on site, he or she will be required to carry out all aspects of fabric planned and reactive maintenance across the site.

In return the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £34,000, overtime and further training.

 

Key duties & Responsibilities

• Completion of PPM to all fabric elements of the building.
• Completion of reactive tasks as required / directed
• Completion of ad-hoc fabric works
• Completion of quoted works both inside and outside of normal working hours
• Multi skilled across all FM trades and practices

• Up to £34,000 (based on experience)
• 25 days holiday + Bank holidays
• Overtime available

• City and Guilds or NVQ level 2 / 3 Carpentry Qualified
• A trade qualification would be highly desirable (Not essential)
• A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
• A strong understanding of most general fabric trades such as basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting etc.
• Multi-skilled
• Good communication skills
