Team Leader Priority Parking

We are looking for a passionate team leader who is committed to providing outstanding customer service.

Team leaders are an essential part of our team to ensure our Priority Parking at Luton airport runs at the highest level ensuring a smooth and professional experience for our customers.

You will work on a shift rota basis of 4 on 4 off days and nights; and must have a valid UK driving licence to apply.

Duties will include:

  • Monitor and manage the day-to-day operations of valet parking, ensuring that all dockets are filled in correctly and stored with the keys.

    Vehicles are retuned and ready in the correct location for customers.
  • Carry out Key audits ensuring all keys are accounted for
  • Ensure customers are greeted and booked in correctly
  • Ensure customer vehicles are driven and parked in a safe manner to and from allotted area
  • Maintain strong communications and consult daily with the Service Delivery Manager (SDM) and Service Delivery Supervisor (SDS),
  • Be the first point of contact for any customer issues or complaints that arise on site.

    Carry out first line investigations.
  • To comply with company policy and procedures, health and safety law and other relevant legislation
  • To maintain a standard of attitude and behaviour that will always represent the company in the best possible light.
  • Ensuring car park patrols, and litter picking is carried out
  • Ensure staff are logging into the Sikdata system to answer intercoms, raise barriers etc
  • To plan, prepare and allocate staff across the entire operation ensuring resources are deployed to the areas of most need during the working day.
  • To organise, manage, and motivate the team on shift across the APCOA operation.
  • To induct and train new members joining the team and carry out ongoing devolvement and training of all team members.

    To monitor the performance of staff and ensure delivery of allocated tasks.
  • To complete shift handover forms between outgoing and incoming crew.
What you’ll bring:
  • Experience of managing a team and working with members of the public
  • Excellent spoken and written English with working knowledge of MS Office
  • Sound financial and analytical skills with experience of preparing reports
  • Smart and Professional
  • Excellent work ethic with excellent inter-personal skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Self-motivated, pro-active nature (Including self-development)
  • Be able to prioritise and multitask.
  • Ability to manage and motivate.
What we’ll offer you:
  • £27,474.72 per annum
  • 42 hours per week
  • Excellent training and development.
Please note you will need a full valid UK driving license and will be subject to a DBS disclosure report.
