Sales Director - FM BIM Software

Sales Director required by our client, a market leading FM BIM software company.

A senior sales management role, responsible for creating, developing, and closing new business and account management sales at a strategic level in key-targeted accounts or with industry partners.

Within the identified clients to own the commercial relationships to maximise product / company penetration and achieve revenue / profitability and growth in line with sales targets across the UK market.  and pro-actively networking at industry events, to develop new sales and partnership opportunities.

Key skills required:
• Highly committed sales professional with a proven sales track record in opening, negotiating, and closing sales contracts 
• Knowledge and understanding of digital technology for Facilities Management and for the built environment, notably BIM (Building Information Modelling) and related services is highly desirable
• Experience in successful technology/IT solutions sales
• Understanding of the PFI/PPP sector would be advantageous

Key responsibilities and accountabilities

Strategic Accounts
• Achievement of sales revenue targets through new business development and account management 
• Ongoing development of existing client accounts to generate revenue 
• Securing profitable revenue in line with agreed budgets 
New Business Development
• Identifying and developing new Sales opportunities
• Working with the Group marketing team to develop  presence / brand in new territories/market sectors 
• Creating and implementing a strategic and ambitious business plan 
• Developing a solid sales pipeline
Partnerships & Networking
• Taking the executive lead at industry networking events
• Seeking sales, partnering opportunities and strategic positioning
• Speaking at industry events
Management
•Providing comprehensive sales reporting to the board
• Proactive member of the company’s Senior Management Team
• Motivating staff and internal stakeholders to manage projects where appropriate
• Building and developing a successful UK Sales and Account Management team
• Documenting and providing innovative strategies to develop existing markets and to enter new markets
