Therapy Lead - Neuro

An exciting job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Therapy Lead - Neuro to work in an exceptional neurological service based in the Gloucester area.

You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers

This service is registered to care for people who suffer from neurological and spinal related disease or injury.

People may have long-term physical and or cognitive impairment, which may not improve over time and which may also require long-term medical support


*To be considered for this position you must hold a professional registration with the HCPC in either Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech and Language Therapy



As the Therapy Lead your key duties include:

  • You will be efficient in organising of the Therapy team which includes physiotherapy, occupational therapy, Speech and Language, Clinical Psychology and Therapy Assistants

  • Meet the individual's needs, aspirations and wellbeing and within quality standards

  • Working as part of the MDT you will be responsible for representing the organisation professionally to a variety of external stakeholders

  • You will be active in developing and promoting the Therapy service which will involve close liaison with funders and referrers from the not only the local community but from across the UK

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

  • Have the ability to work in a potentially emotionally and challenging environment

  • Strong leadership skill

  • An ability to assess, diagnose and provide high quality individualised therapy programmes for residents, being sensitive to their needs

  • Seeking an enthusiastic and committed individual

  • Leadership experience and someone who has the business development flair to promote the service is essential for this role

The successful Therapy Lead will receive an excellent salary of £40,812 per annum.

This exciting position is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours a week.
