Enforcement Officer

The Role
As a Civil Enforcement Officer you will make sure that drivers follow parking regulations in car parks around the Stafford area.
What you'll do
Patrol local council car parks to make sure that regulations are being followed
Record and issue Penalty Charge Notices
Check parking meters and car park equipment and report damage or faults, checking that car parks are clean and tidy
You will report defective signs and markings, identifying and reporting any abandoned vehicles
Explain regulations to motorists and advise them about parking facilities
You’ll check tickets and attend to minor machine faults

What you'll bring
You’ll need to be assertive and polite when dealing with people
A calm and professional approach to handle difficult situations
Experience of working in a customer service role is highly valued and an ideal transferrable skill for this role
You should be able to work as a team member or on your own and have the ability to make decisions
Full driving license essential
What we'll offer you
£20,995 per annum 
37.5 hours per week on a shift basis including Saturdays and Bank Holidays
20 days holiday plus Bank holidays
