Project Manager

The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Apcoa as a Project Manager.

You will be working on a number of complex projects, from inception through to handover to the appropriate business areas, ensuring the delivery of specified products and services within agreed time, quality and cost parameters.
What You’ll Do
Engage with key stakeholders to identify project objectives and key products to be delivered and develop project specifications, agree project baseline including scope, key activities, deliverables, resource requirements, milestones, and deadlines.
Utilise project plans and schedules to monitor all activities.
Manage relationships amongst stakeholders by building confidence and trust with clear professional communications and assured expectation management.
Ensure project team members are informed, have clear goals, and work collaboratively and in partnership with all project stakeholders to achieve planned outcomes.
Drive project execution, track delivery, monitor and control change, and pro-actively seek and resolve blocking issues.
Record information accurately and consistently using appropriate systems and provide and communicate timely information to relevant parties
Seek stakeholder insight and feed it into improved processes while ensuring compliance with governance and standards.
Manage projects within agreed governance structures and processes, to ensure consistency of approach and efficient use of resources.
Conduct progress reviews to give stakeholders confidence that projects will deliver on time, to budget and agreed standards.
Conduct reviews to assess project outcomes and to identify and capture lessons learned to enable continuous improvement.
Contribute to the provision of documentation for new or improved processes, products and services and to ensure that good practice is disseminated throughout the organisation.
Take a flexible approach to task boundaries where appropriate.
Be comfortable to be able to work alone and unsupervised.
Be prepared to travel between client, supplier and business sites in order to perform the role as required.
What You’ll Bring
A track record of successful management and delivery of projects as well as experience of successful partnership working, relationship development and management.
Confident communicator, with clarity, at all levels
A proactive approach to building productive relationships with internal and external partners and able to negotiate and collaborate effectively to agree project outcomes.
Comfortably able to plan, schedule, prioritise and allocate work effectively whilst delivering to multiple and challenging deadlines.
Committed to personal professional development and able identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn new skills and support momentum  around initiatives and new approaches.
A calm, effective and positive approach, even when under pressure, and take ownership for delivering outcomes
The ability to identify problems, while providing and facilitating alternative options and recommendations.
A higher education qualification or equivalent professional experience is beneficial.

A recognised qualification in project management (e.g.

PRINCE2, APM) is desirable but not essential.
What We’ll Offer You
Salary of £55,000 - £60,00 per annum
