Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM Service Provider situated in London.

CBW are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Supervisor to be based on a unique site located in Stratford.

The successful candidate will be either Electrical or mechanically biased.

The role is predominantly supervisory but will include an element of hands-on working when required.

(60/40 split) He or she will supervise all aspects of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), Reactive Maintenance, Project Works and liaise with our Help Desk in-hours and out of hours as required in accordance with both client and the companies requirements.

Hours of work

Monday to Friday - 07:00am to 16:00pm

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the day to day running of the contract requirements and organising the site team in order to meet the contractual agreement.
• Assist in the preparation of emergency and contingency plans.
• Maintain records appertaining to the PPM schedule and the emergency maintenance system.
• Oversee all contract activities, both maintenance and projects and ensure all safety aspects are managed and monitored in accordance with site procedures and requirements.
• Undertake tasks associated with staff during peak workloads and provide holiday and sickness cover if and where necessary.
• Staff supervision including all full-time, part-time, sub-contractors and specialist providers.
• Be proactive with regard to preventative maintenance and extra works.
• Be available to attend or manage emergency call-outs and provide written incident reports as required.
• Maintain accurate records of works done and expenditure, using this information to report to the Account Manager on a monthly basis.
• Offer technical support to the engineering time on site (4 Engineers)
• Attend client meeting as and when required
• Ensure daily PPM's & Reactive works are completed
• Complete Permits to work, Method statements and risk assessments

• City & Guilds (Electrical Installation)
• 18th Edition Institute of Electrical Engineers (I.E.E)
• NVQ Level 2-3 (Mechanical Discipline e.g.
  
  Heating and Ventilating 6018)
• A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
• Experience gained within a maintenance environment in a supervisory role
• A good working knowledge of trades such as– Plumbing; HVAC systems and Refrigeration
• Sound Mechanical and/or electrical knowledge
• Experience in computer PPM management systems (Concept)
• Be conversant with current Health and Safety legislation with relevance to safe working practices.
• Sound level of administration/organisational skills
• Prior experience with permits to work
• Use of CAFM systems such as Concept Evolution and/or eLogbook’s
• Ability to lead and motivate staff
• Ability to develop a good understanding of the customers business requirements
