Restaurant Manager - Bromley Court Hotel
Location: Bromley
Annual Salary of up to £32k
Management Bonus Scheme which will pay 10% of salary if targets are achieved.


Bromley Court Hotel has a magnificent 200-year history and has been privately owned by the same family since 1931.

Offering comfortable surroundings with 117 modern bedrooms, extensive Conference & Banqueting facilities, A large number of weddings per year and an established Restaurant delivering superb food.

We pride ourselves on our personal service to all our guests whether they are holidaymakers, business travellers or visiting us for a special occasion.


We are currently looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager, reporting directly to the Food and Beverage Operations Manager and Hotel Manager.

You will have total responsibility for the day to day operations of the Restaurant to ensure everything runs smoothly and our commitment to Customer Service, quality and training delivery is consistent.

This is a hands-on role and includes working weekends and late nights.

A great personality is key for this role with a warmth and ability to build rapport quickly with staff and guests.


The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and motivating the restaurant team.

They will drive the highest levels of customer service in this locally renowned venue.


The Essential Skills:


, Recent experience as a Restaurant Manager in fine dining restaurants or hotel is essential; however would consider a very strong Assistant Restaurant Manager with a proven background looking for their first Managerial role.
, Be an excellent motivator with strong leadership skills.
, Able to deal with peak time rushes and high volume, especially with afternoon teas.
, Career-minded and ambitious, with a desire to succeed.
, Ability to train, develop and nurture your team and for them to achieve great success.
, Ability to welcome guests and ensure that they are satisfied at all times.


The Desirable Skills:


, Strong leader with previous experience of managing a dedicated team within a Restaurant and Banqueting environment.
, Have the ability to motivate and drive the success of your team and department.
, Remain calm throughout both busy service or running a large Wedding/Function, ensuring that guests feel like they are special.
, Schedule staff working hours to match the business needs and keeping within budgeted targets.
, Immaculate appearance and personality to match
, Makes decisions and solves problems.
