Air Conditioning Engineer

Air Conditioning Service Engineer - Inverness -  35K-36K plus on call 1 in 8 plus company van and good opportunity to earn OT

  As an Air Conditioning Service Engineer, you will provide Air Conditioning bias and building services engineering maintenance to a variety of client properties throughout the Inverness area.

This will include Air Conditioning bias fault finding, repairs, maintenance and installation.

  Key Responsibilities   

- Take responsibility for AC and HVAC bias PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames so that the customer expectations are exceeded
- Ensure other types of building services maintenance to include fabric, HVAC, mechanical and related tasks are adhered to
- Provide callout response for the client as detailed on the callout rota and undertake new installations, major and minor repair works to clients’ AC systems
- Diagnose and repair faults on systems and plant including basic electrical fault finding and issue Permits to Work.

 

  Professional and personal competencies/qualifications   

- City and Guilds 2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants or CITB J11 Equivalent and NVQ 2/3 or City & Guilds in Commercial Refrigeration and AC Systems
- NVQ2/3 or City & Guilds in Heating and Ventilation or NVQ2/3 or City & Guilds in Heating and Ventilation Service & Maintenance
- IPAF / PASMA
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Significant experience in providing air conditioning and HVAC related building services maintenance to include fault finding, maintenance and installation
