Mobile Facilities Operative

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mobile Facilities Operative required to support the GTR Operations Management Team, based out of Luton.

Using a company van you will be covering Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northwest London as well as covering holidays in the southern region of the business.

Full training will be given for the right person. Don't worry about your commuting costs as a rail pass will be issued to cover your journey (subject to conditions).

You will also be provided with a company van to travel between stations and enable you to perform your role.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Removal of Abandoned bikes/vehicles and facilitate records through close liaison with administration teams
  • Removal and/or relocation of existing payment equipment across the estate
  • Lead on installing signage as part of a team
  • Fix Line 2 payment machine issues across the estate with close liaison with the Maintenance and Technical Engineer in the south of the business.
  • Carry out Minor works: Carpark lining / relining, minor engineering general works, signage installation, post installations.
  • Be the main point of contact with payment machine suppliers (IPS, Parkeon).
  • To produce a report on a weekly basis of all actions for communication to external and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure that SLAs are met.
  • Carry out front line contractual requirements to include but not limited to the above
What you'll bring:
  • Minimum of 12 months experience in a maintenance role.
  • Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
  • Self-motivated, proactive nature.
  • Ability to prioritise, organise, multi-task and work unsupervised.
  • Full UK driving licence essential.
What we'll offer you:
  • Up to £24,440 per annum 
  • 40 hours per week - Mon-Fri- with occasional weekends.

    Option to condense hours into 4 days if preferable
