Contract: Permanent Full Time
Hours: 38 hours per week
Salary: £40,519 per annum
Location: Hybrid working - Head Office, London, N17, in services across northeast London, some working from home (Minimum 3 days at an office base- Head Office or at a service)

At the heart of operations, you will join two Area Manager colleagues specialised in complex needs and supported living services; you will be providing leadership for managers of our Outreach and Supported Living Services for people with learning disabilities (low-moderate support needs) and our Young people's supported housing services (Care leavers 16y+).

Our dynamic young people's services are going from strength to strength empowering clients by developing their skills and confidence to improve their employment and education opportunities and help them realise their potential, preparing young people for adult life.

Our outreach and supported living services for people with learning disabilities are delivered across North and East London and are highly regarded, supporting people to increased independence and meet personal aspirations.

The Role

· This is a strategic lead operational role.

You will be accountable for ensuring the contracts you oversee across a broad geographical region meet our contractual, regulatory and qualitative expectations.

· Auditing services you are responsible for, enabling our teams to deliver high-quality service.

· You will manage, develop and motivate team managers, inspiring confidence and providing leadership in delivering our new business plan and three-year strategy.

· Performance management and budgetary expertise form a crucial part of this role.

It is essential that you have a sound understanding of budgets and have the ability to manage within tight financial restraints.

· Growing our Outreach and Young People provision will be one of your key targets
· You will foster trauma-informed practices and share your experience of working with teams in line with PIE (psychologically informed environments) framework
· You will take on the role safeguarding lead (children and young people) and keep up to date with relevant legislation relating to children and young people in care

, Working with our Quality and Involvement Team, you will deliver a service that meets and aims to exceed the expectations of the people we support, their funders and the local authority.

, You will be required to join the senior management on-call rota

About you
· You will share our values and passion to engage, enable and empower vulnerable adults to lead the lives they want.

· Using your extensive management experience of working in a similar setting you will have developed the skills you need to engage and motivate a team to provide creative and flexible services that make a positive difference to people's lives.

· We are looking for candidates with sound operational knowledge
· Ideally you are qualified to at least NVQ / QCF Level 5 (or equivalent) or have a professional qualification
· You will be a key figure in communicating with other stakeholders and are able to build professional and positive working relationships.

· It is essential that candidates applying have experience working with Learning Disabilities
· Strong IT skills are required
