Sales Executive

Smart Solutions are working with a leading contract manufacturing business based in the Port Talbot area who are seeking a Sales Executive to join their internal sales team.

We are looking for a proactive individual to work with their existing large database and support the team in creating new partnerships.

Key responsibilities for the Sales Executive:

  • Lead generation.
  • Outbound sales calls (scheduling meetings for management team where necessary).
  • Inbound partner enquiries.
  • Develop new business opportunities with existing partners.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners and colleagues.
  • Provide data to the management team (forecasts, partner goals/plans etc.).
As a Sales Executive, you will need:
  • Experience of making outgoing calls (Essential),
  • Experience of sales calls (Preferred),
  • Excellent customer service skills,
  • Strong understanding of sales processes,
  • Ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels,
  • Strong IT literacy,
  • A flexible and tenacious approach to the role,
  • Driving licence for occasional travel (i.e.

    to attend meetings, events, exhibitions).
