HVAC Engineer

HVAC Service Engineer - FM Service Provider - Manchester  £30-40K DOE

CBW is working with a leading installation, servicing and maintenance contractor that is looking to add an additional HVAC Service Engineer to their team.

The client has a strong portfolio of blue chip clients throughout the UK but this position will be covering the Manchester region.  The portfolio of clients that you will be working with range from: Gyms, restaurants, hotels and entertainment venues.

This position comes with uncapped OT and plenty available.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Planning the placement of pipework, ducts and control panels Installing HVAC components
• Performing quality checks to ensure systems are working efficiently and safely
• Carrying out maintenance on HVAC systems, fault finding and fixing faults
• Working with hot and cold water boosted systems
• Reactive and planned maintenance of pressurised systems
• Surveying sites ahead of fitting heating, ventilation or air conditioning systems

• 30 Mins travel each way
• OT after 40 hours at 1,5K
• On-call 1in 4 - On-call door to door travel paid
• Holidays - 30 days (including stats)
• Pension
• Fully expensed van - Business use only

• NVQ or HVAC qualifications Level 2 NVQ in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
• F - Gas 2079
• A proven track record in commercial building maintenance Experience with working with VRVs, Split units, Chillers and AHUS, RTUs (Roof top units) Pumps for LTHW (low temp hot water) 
• Not necessary but advantages would also be having experience with wet systems, radiators, boilers and pipework diagnostic and repairs.
• Full Driving License
