
Finance and Systems Administrator

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance and Systems Administrator to join our team.
The role requires a significant amount of interaction with internal and external stakeholders, therefore good communication skills are essential
What you’ll do
- Post bank statements on a daily basis ensuring correct classifications
- Process BACS and CHAPS payments
- Bank reconciliations
- Manage the company petty cash cards
- Set up new card MID’s and manage existing MID’s
- Deal with the preparation of half and full year audit files
- Action new site set ups for UK and Ireland
- Create new supplier vendors
- Maintain existing supplier information and bank details
- Maintain G/L listing and create new G/L accounts
- Action self-bill set ups
- Manage the purchase order system (Proactis)
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- DOA management
- Maintain master data
- TM1 system admin
- Assist Finance Manager with fixed assets, admin & CAPEX
- Assist Management Accountants where needed
- Knowledge of TM1 Cognos, reporting tool, TM5 (Treasury system), Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- A finance studier or with an AAT qualification, or someone keen to study
- Good IT systems knowledge and skills, using IT systems in a financial transaction environment and pick up systems quickly.
- Multi-site experience is an added advantage
- Treasury Experience
- Ability to work and communicate financial information with non-financial operational staff
- Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to win the respect and trust of colleagues and customers
- Highly organised with an excellent ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure
- Be a self-starter with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- A performance driven individual with enthusiasm to succeed as part of a team and deliver outstanding results
- £27,000-£30,000 per annum depending on experience
- 37 hours a week
- 25 days Annual Leave
