Black Country Women's Aid (BCWA) is an established charity working across the Black Country and wider West Midlands providing accommodation and community support services to victims of domestic abuse, sexual abuse and human trafficking.

Services range from advocacy, civil remedies, support in court, individual and group support and access to a range of therapeutic interventions.

All services are client and needs led.

The team:

Corporate Services are the “business hub” of BCWA where all the work ensures legal, financial, quality and contracts compliance and standards met.

The areas of business covered include;
, Governance including management of the Board of trustees

, Community and corporate fundraising and sponsorship,
, Human resources and workforce development
, Fundraising, Human Resources, Training
, Communications/Marketing.


, Strategic planning/ development including individual service plans

The work undertaken by Corporate Services also underpins the direct services provided by our operational resources.


Since expansion and the successful award of contracts during the 2020's Corporate Services have become ever more integral to the development and success of the organisation.

BCWA is looking to expand the internal audit and assurance processes and resources.

Job Role

Job Title: Compliance and Quality Administrator
Position available: 1 full-time position (37.5 hours), based across the Black Country
Salary: £19,636.50 - £22,099.94
Closing date: 18th March 2022

Is this you?

We are looking for a Compliance and Quality Administrator with excellent organisational skills.


The successful candidate should have outstanding verbal and written communication skills, experience of report writing using data to make fact-based recommendations as well as an understanding of risk assessments.



The Role:

The successful candidate will be working with the Executive Officer who will have direct management and oversight of the compliance framework for BCWA.


The Compliance and Quality Administrator will provide administrative support, updates on plans, identify and update risk assessments, audit against contracts, monitor systems to ensure that relevant standards are being met.


This is an important role where an attention to detail, ability to respond to work as it arises and an understanding of risk and compliance is essential.
