Food Service Assistant

Food Service Assistant Required - Bristol - £9.00 per hour 

Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM Service Provider situated on a commercial estate in Bristol.

CBW are currently recruiting for a Cleaning Operative to be based on a commercial estate in Hampstead. 

Hours of work

2 week shift pattern 

Week 1 

Sat-Monday - 7:00am - 15:00pm 

Week 2 

Wed - Fri - 7:00am - 14:00pm

Key duties & Responsibilities

Under the supervision, work as part of a team on site to complete basic cleaning tasks such as;

- To continuously improve the standards of service by suggesting methods to improve the dining experience in all wards and implementing them once authorised.
- Work closely with housekeeping department to ensure the staff are trained and following all procedures for the delivery of the food.
- Ensure strict control of the standards and quality in the dining areas 
- To make sure that the dining areas in the wards are kept ready for meal service before the residents arrive. 
- To set standards and ensure that all legislation is adhered to in respect to hygiene, health and safety and mandatory training within the catering operations.
- Working as and when required by the management to ensure breakfast, lunch and tea meal services are monitored with spot checks on all services. 
- To assist the chefs in administration tasks (printing menus, rotas etc.)
- Delivery and clearing of refreshments for meetings in the Wards and meeting rooms. 
- To assume other tasks as required by the Catering Manager or Head of Catering & Hospitality

Requirements

- Have a proven track record in Catering / Hospitality 
- To work to a timescale as agreed with you and your Supervisor/Manager
- Ensure compliance with relevant health & safety practices
- To act in a professional manner at all times
- Be honest, reliable and hard working
- Must be able to demonstrate good communication skills
- Be eligible to work in the UK
