The Role


Projective has an immediate requirement for an electrical / controls engineer with experience in an industrial utilities/process manufacturing environment and an interest/experience in energy systems.


You must have experience in working on a complex industrial site, including HS&E requirements in addition to take responsibility for the preparation of technical project documentation, write reports and give presentations (to clients).

This is the ideal role for a Chartered Electrical Engineer to be a key part of a growing business and enjoy using their versatile skills and knowledge in a range of projects.


The role is based at our UK offices, with the requirement to travel to client sites both UK and overseas.


Candidates must be able to demonstrate capability and experience in several of the following areas (We love versatility and passion for learning new skills):


, Industrial electrical supply and distribution systems
, Industrial automation systems such as PLC, BMS, or DCS
, Industrial instrumentation including flow, temperature, and pressure.
, P&IDs & process flow diagrams (PFD)
, Industrial electrical systems and MCCs
, Preparation of technical project documentation write and produce reports and give presentations.
, Working on a complex industrial site including HS&E requirements
, Project management - scope, time, and cost management
, Knowledge of IT systems, networking, and system configuration
, Knowledge of industrial utilities systems including boilers & steam plants, refrigeration & cooling systems, compressed air systems, and water treatment.


Candidates must demonstrate a high level of customer focus and present excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Our Engineers can adapt easily and take on challenges in a positive, solutions-oriented way.


Qualifications and Additional Requirements:


, City and Guilds 2382-15 18th Edition
, Minimum of HNC in electrical / controls engineering
, Ideally Chartered status (or working towards)
, PC Literate - MS Office, MS Project
, Resident and eligible to work in the UK
, Current driving licence and access to a car

Package Summary


Projective offers a competitive remuneration package of £30,000 - £45,000 depending on skills and experience.
