HGV 2 DriverLocation: SittingbourneShift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, Night Shift (18:00 – 06:00)Salary: Competitive, based on experience About the Role: We are looking for an experienced HGV 2 Driver to join our team in Sittingbourne. The role involves operating Roro hook lorries and chain skip lorries for the purpose of emptying skips and Roro containers around the site. As an integral part of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation and disposal of waste. Key Responsibilities:Operate Roro hook lorries and chain skip lorries to empty skips and Roros across the site.Safely load and unload waste containers, ensuring all operations comply with safety standards.Ensure all vehicles are properly maintained and report any defects.Follow all health and safety regulations while operating the vehicles.Work independently and efficiently to complete tasks within your shift.Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients on site.Requirements:At least 2 years of experience as an HGV 2 Driver.Experience in operating Roro hook lorries and chain skip lorries (preferred but not essential).Valid HGV 2 Licence.A CPC qualification.Good knowledge of health and safety practices in a driving environment.Ability to work the night shift (18:00 – 06:00).Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.What We Offer:Competitive salary based on experience.Regular, stable shifts on a 4 on, 4 off rota.Opportunity for career progression.A friendly and supportive team environment. ....Read more...
