Locum GP/Obstetrician

The Job:
Setting: Rural Hospital and Health Clinic
Hours: 9am - 5pm at the medical practice, as well as sharing the on call after hours at the hospital as per roster.
Rate: Negotiable
Provisions: Flights, accommodation and a care hire are provided in this role

Where you’ll be working
You will be working in a quiet rural town located in Outback Queensland.

When you are not on shift, this town offers a wide variety of activities, whether it be a relaxing day fishing on the banks of the town’s gorgeous rivers or a day engaging in the rich history of the town through the many museums and tours that it offers.

To enjoy the stunning scenery, take a trip down the Warrego River or immerse yourself in Queensland’s largest planetarium which offers many unique and enriching celestial experiences.

Direct flights are available from Brisbane which can get you there in under 2 hours. 

In this role, you will be working at the health clinic Monday to Friday, providing care to members of the community.

You will be sharing the on call after hours at the hospital as per the local roster created. 

Requirements  
Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) or Fellowship of the Australian College of Rural & Remote Medicine (FACRRM), or equivalent.
