Fabric Technician

Fabric Technician – FM Service Provider – Commercial Campus – London – up to £35,000 per annum

CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for a Fabric Technician to be based in a prestigious Commercial Campus based in London.

This Campus has amazing facilities such as - on-site restaurants for when you are hungry, great cafes to grab a hot drink and much more.

They have bike racks on-site for when you want to cycle into work, and parking as well.

The site is a short walk from Warren street underground station and Euston station.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in Building Maintenance.

Package:

• Up to £35,000
• Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance of building fabric across the campus.
• Undertake general repairs such as carpentry, basic plumbing, patch plastering, tiling, painting, and minor decorating works.
• Inspect and maintain doors, windows, locks, floors, ceilings, and fixtures to ensure buildings remain safe, secure, and presentable.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and fault reports, prioritising works to minimise disruption to the approipate person.
• Support compliance with health and safety regulations, including safe systems of work and risk assessments.
• Liaise with facilities teams, contractors, and campus staff to coordinate repairs and improvement works.
• Carry out routine inspections and identify potential issues before they develop into major faults.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed using maintenance management systems.

• Education A good basic education is essential, with good written and spoken English and basic Mathematics skills.
• Formal fabric Training.
• Formal Building Maintenance training.
• Formal health and safety training.
• Experience (Essential) Sound understanding and experience of meeting health and safety obligations regarding maintenance activities
• Character Committed to the delivery of excellent customer service.
• To have a calm manner and able to work under pressure.

• A team player, able to work with the team and client’s representatives at all levels.
• Must be willing to provide holiday and sickness cover at short notice and be flexible in their working patterns.
