Sheetmetal Worker

Recruit4staff are representing a well-established metal fabrication company in their search for a Sheetmetal Worker to work in Widnes.

Job Role: Working as a Sheetmetal Worker, you will be involved in fabricating telecom structures, boxes and enclosures using hand tools and metalworking machinery such as guillotines and press brakes.

TIG welding on stainless steel is a key part of the role.

You will also follow engineering drawings to accurately produce stainless steel components.

Job Details:

• Pay: £15.80 per hour
• Hours of Work: 7.30am - 4.30pm Monday to Thursday, 7.30am - 12pm Friday
• Duration: Temporary
• Benefits: Permanent role available after qualifying period

Essential Skills & Experience:

• TIG welding on stainless steel
• Fabricating sheet metal and plate

Desired Qualifications:

• NVQ Level 3 in a related engineering discipline
