About the Role: CBW Recruitment are working with a well-established contractor within the Passive Fire Protection industry, who are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Bexley, South East London.

The successful candidate will take ownership of cost management, contract administration, and commercial reporting for passive fire projects, with genuine career progression available based on performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage project budgets and cost plans
  
  
• Conduct valuations, cost reporting, and final accounts
  
  
• Negotiate and manage subcontractor and supplier contracts
  
  
• Manage project variations and change control procedures
  
  
• Ensure compliance with contractual terms and financial governance
  
  
• Provide commercial input to project planning and risk management
  
  
• Liaise with clients, site teams, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
  
  
• Support tender processes and pricing for new works
  
  

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the fire protection or passive fire industry
  
  
• Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management (e.g., BSc, HND, or equivalent)
  
  
• Strong understanding of construction contracts and cost control processes
  
  
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
  
  
• Proficiency in MS Excel and industry-standard estimating software
  
  
• Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
  
  
• Must be eligible to work in the UK and based within commuting distance of Bexley
