Job Title: Warehouse Operative (Temp to Perm)

Location: Sevenoaks, Kent
Salary: £13.00 - £14.00ph
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm (1-hour lunch break)
Holiday: 25 days holiday (January to December) plus bank holidays

About the Role:

CBW is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative to join our client’s team in Sevenoaks on a temporary-to-permanent basis.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a warehouse environment and will be confident in picking and packing, as well as operating machinery.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring that orders are picked efficiently, packaged, and dispatched accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently.
  
  
• Operating machinery, including counterbalance forklifts and cherry pickers.
  
  
• Working at height to pick high-level orders using a cherry picker.
  
  
• Ensuring all safety protocols are followed when operating machinery.
  
  
• Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  
  
• Assisting with general warehouse duties as required.
  
  

• At least 3 years of experience working in a warehouse environment.
  
  
• Confidence with picking and packing.
  
  
• Experience using a counterbalance forklift truck (FLT).
  
  A valid licence is preferred.
  
  
• Ability to work at height and experience using cherry pickers (training can be provided).
  
  
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
  
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  
  

• Competitive salary  £27,000 per annum
  
  
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
