Building Surveyor - Client Side - Glasgow or Edinburgh - Home working or flexible to be office based in any of their locations 40-45K plus car

This opportunity would see you join a unique business that owns over 3000 properties in the UK.  This role will have you based mainly between Glasgow and Edinburgh and the surroundings with occasional travel to the Highlands and Islands.   The properties that the business own are diverse ranging from : Churches, historic buildings, commercial space to smaller residential properties.

Duties & Responsibilities 

• Responsible for working on numerous projects up to the value of 350K 
• Visiting the wide variety of properties to survey the PPMs 
• Meeting internal clients and contractors and building strong trusting relationships
• Look for ways properties can be improved and advise on options for repair, maintenance or restoration.
• Deal with planning and building regulations applications 
• Offer advise on property alterations, improvements and extensions.
• Determine the condition of existing buildings by looking for defect and advising on environmental, health and safety issues of buildings. 

• Recognised Degree in Building Surveyor
• Experience within building surveying either contractor or client side 
• Exceptional Project Management experience
• Driving license - car and fuel card will be provided
