Our client is a mobile gym covering East Anglia offering wellbeing and fitness solutions to a range of clients needing specialist support, specifically over 55's, persons with physical disabilities and persons with learning difficulties.

Our client received the SME News 2018 UK Enterprise Awards for Best Fitness Program Provider covering East Anglia.

They are currently looking for a fitness instructor to safely deliver their intellectual fitness program at various venues as per their guidelines.

Essential to the role is the ability to interact with older persons effectively to ensure the service provided is safe, professional and meets high standards.

The successful trainer will have the ability to motivate older persons to maintain adherence.

Key Training Skills and Qualification:

  • The applicant will have a national recognised L2 or L3 fitness qualification and or a suitably recognised qualification in Strength and Balance Falls Prevention.
  • Update CPD professional knowledge and skills in line with current developments and guidelines in relation to the delivery of exercise referral programs and specialist populations ie: older persons, mental health etc.
  • The applicant will be required to carry personal liability and professional indemnity insurance.

Organisational Responsibilities:

  • Have a flexible approach to working hours in order to meet the needs of the service
  • Collate and submit accurate and timely data as necessary for the purpose of monitoring and evaluation
  • Work with established protocols and service level agreements as directed
  • Maintain accurate records and information systems in line with company policies
  • Assist in the monitoring, evaluating and reporting on the effectiveness of program interventions
  • Establish and maintain health and safety standards within all programs, ensuring that all activities are risk assessed and under taken with due regard to health and safety regulations
    Special Conditions:

Note: The applicant must agree to an enhanced Disclosure and Baring Service (DBS) check.

The cost of acquiring the DBS will be borne by Gym In Motion.Due to the nature of working with vulnerable adults, to ensure their safety the applicant would need to enter into a Non Disclosure Agreement
The applicant will be required to wear branded shirt and ID Badge at all times when presenting Gym In Motion sessions.

Remuneration: £16.00 to £22.00 per session delivered

Hours of work: Between 10am to 4pm Monday to Fridays
